Services
On this page we tell you what to think about before you come to the Great Britain. And how Brite Jobs can help and support you.
Proper Preparation
After receiving your application, we will contact you. During this conversation, we will get to know each other. We will focus on your wishes and our opportunities. In order to be eligible and permitted to work in the UK, there are a few things you need to consider. We will ask you questions such as:
- What kind of work suits you?
- When would you like to travel to the UK?
- Do you want to go to the UK alone or with someone?
- How long do you want to work in the UK?
- How will you travel to the UK?
- Where will you live during your stay in the UK?
Based on your answers to these and other questions, we will provide you with a personalized cooperation offer. This offer consists of a job offer and additional services that we can provide you. Brite Jobs offers you more than just a job. Below we will tell you more about our services.
Transportation to the UK
Once your appointment for a visa visit has a confirmed date, we will select the most optimal flight to London for you. You can either purchase the tickets yourself based on our recommendation, or buy them through us — it will be 15–20% cheaper due to our corporate discounts (we also assist with online check-in 48 hours before departure).
Documents for Employment
Anyone planning to work and stay in the UK for an extended period must pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS). This fee is a mandatory part of the visa process and grants access to the NHS (National Health Service), the UK’s public healthcare system, on the same terms as UK citizens. After paying the IHS, you will be able to visit clinics, receive medical treatment, consult with a GP, and access emergency care in case of illness or accidents — all for free. Brite Jobs supports you at every stage — we help calculate, complete, and submit the IHS payment correctly to avoid errors during the visa application. If you already have valid health insurance or plan to arrange one yourself, please notify your coordinator in advance.
Accommodation
Of course, it’s important to feel comfortable even far from home. When working on a farm in the UK, you’ll have the opportunity to live directly on the employer’s premises — in specially equipped residential caravans (trailers). This is a convenient and practical solution, especially for seasonal employment.
Caravans are designed for 6 people and provided free of charge. The only cost you need to cover is utility bills, which average around £50 per month. This amount may be deducted from your salary.
Each caravan is fully equipped for comfortable living:
- Private bathroom and toilet
- Kitchen with all necessary appliances: stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishes
- Lounge area for socializing and relaxing
- Internet access
- Large laundry facility on the farm premises (free to use)
Food is self-catered and at your own expense. However, for your convenience, free bus trips to a local supermarket are organized four times a week, allowing you to buy all necessary groceries. On average, food costs amount to £40–50 per week.
This is a convenient, affordable, and well-organized way to live close to your workplace with access to all basic amenities.
Transport Within the UK
In the UK, commuting distances are typically short, especially when it comes to seasonal farm jobs. In most cases, accommodation is located directly on the farm premises or very close by — so no additional transport is needed. You can easily walk to your workplace. However, if you work at a processing facility or logistics center and your accommodation is farther away, Brite Jobs will arrange employee transportation: Vehicles or minibuses are provided to transport employees to and from work. If you don’t have a driving license, transport is provided with a driver — you will not be left without a way to reach your job. If you do have a valid driver’s license, you may operate a Brite Jobs vehicle. Drivers receive an additional compensation of £2 per working day when they drive others. You may also use the company vehicle for personal travel, but if personal mileage exceeds 500 miles/year, a tax may apply under UK law. All commuting for work is free of charge for employees — you will not bear any extra transportation costs.
Scheduling
Your daily schedule can be found in a smartphone app developed by Plan4Flex. You will receive login credentials and instructions before your arrival in the UK. With this app, you will have access to your schedule anytime, anywhere. You will also find your payslips and personal file in the app. It also provides an option to communicate with us.
We strive to plan as many hours per week for you as possible. This is coordinated with the company you work for. If you are temporarily unavailable, you must request leave.
Personal Support
We believe it’s important that you are well-informed — both before and during your time in the UK. If you haven’t signed your contract yet, you can contact our recruiters, who are happy to answer all your questions. Once you arrive in the UK, our arrival team will welcome and assist you. From the moment you start working, you can reach out to our support service — a team of dedicated colleagues who speak your language. They are trained to communicate with you promptly, kindly, and professionally — by phone, email, or through the P4F app. You can contact them with any questions. In addition, there’s an emergency number for evenings and weekends. This line is available 24/7 but should be used only for urgent matters.
