Our client is one of world's leading electronic companies. At the European Sparepart Center most of the telecom parts can be found, like mobile phones, tablets, televisions but also washing machines, dryers and kitchen machines. In this warehouse the activities consists order picking, masterpack, inbound, inventory, shipping and Ex-works.

Work

For our logistics customer we are looking for motivated staff who like to work in one of the largest warehouses in the Great Britain with a lot of possibilities. There is no need for any relevant experience. If you are motivated and able to communicate in English you can apply.

Orderpicking

Order picking with a hand scanner or Google Glass - packing items according to procedure - large and small items, but no heavy products. Checking for visible damage during picking. Deviations must be signaled and products needs to be placed at the right place.

Maserpack

The Masterpack department is all about packing all orders. Masterpack is the end point of the Warehouse so there is a high workload here. They make sure that all orders go out on time. It is a large group of employees and there is a nice atmosphere in the workplace. Minimum length is 1.55 m due to height packing tables. Here too they work with scanners, so good visibility is necessary. There is a reasonable chance of working overtime during evenings.

Inbound

At the Inbound department, employees take care of the incoming products, check the products, after which they put it away at the right place. The work is physically demanding because it involves boxes of 20/25 kg. Employees have to work with a scanner. Read small letters and numbers and see the differences well.

Standard rate: £16.22

Overtime = 125%
Mon - Fri 18:00 - 00:00 = 130%
Saturday = 150%
