Work

You will be working in a spacious and bright greenhouse where tomatoes are grown all year round. Every day, you will carry out important tasks that help the plants grow healthy and produce tasty, beautiful fruits. There are several types of jobs in the greenhouse: tying plants to strings, lowering stems, trimming leaves, and harvesting ripe tomatoes. You will be assigned to the tasks you perform best — quality and dedication are highly valued here. Breaks are provided throughout the day so you can rest and recharge.

You can get to work in whichever way is most convenient for you: some people drive, others ride a bike, and if you live nearby, you can simply walk.

Field work is a bit different from working in greenhouses. You will work outdoors on well-maintained fields where onions and broccoli are grown. Every day, you will help harvest fresh vegetables that will end up on store shelves and in customers' homes. The work includes cutting and packing broccoli, pulling onions, trimming stems, and sorting produce right in the field. You will be assigned to the tasks you do best — attention to detail, accuracy, and endurance are highly valued here. The working day includes breaks so you can rest, have a snack, and regain strength.

Fields can be located either within walking distance from the farm where you will live or farther away. In such cases, the work group is transported in large, comfortable buses. If you have a driver’s license, you can work both as a harvester and additionally earn money as a bus driver.
